Paltalk Messenger is a desktop instant messaging client which enables you to chat with not only your friends but also with different people from all over the world using its chat rooms. This messaging service also has the feature of voice and video calling.
Using Paltalk, users can create their own public virtual chat rooms. The messaging service has two plans for which you can subscribe; basic plan which is free and VIP plan for $29.95/month. Free plan has only limited features.
There are two proprietary software of Paltalk; Paltalk Mobile for mobile phones and Paltalk Express. Paltalk Mobile is a mobile client which is available for Android, iPhone and BlackBerry. Paltalk Express can be accessed using any web browser at it is a free web based Java and Adobe Flash Application.
You can use Paltalk for other famous IM networks such as Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ and other messenger included Facebook chat. Moreover you can also install some necessary plug-ins.
Paltalk has released a widget called Paltalk Video Chat Widget in May 2009 which allows visitors to view Paltalk text and video rooms. Users can use this widget directly for text chat. A big drawback of this messenger is a lot of ads everywhere.
