Download JetAudio Basic Version is an application 8.1.1.JetAudio media player for Microsoft Windows shareware and Android, which offers advanced playback options for a wide range of multimedia file formats. It was developed by Cowon Systems Inc. in 1997.
Initially released in 1997, JetAudio is one of the oldest existing media players for the Windows platform.
Besides music and video playback, JetAudio provides features such as metadata editing, CD ripping and burning, data conversion, sound recording and Internet broadcasting. It also includes numerous sound effects. The “Plus VX” commercial version of the application includes algorithms unlocked BBE sound enhancement and wider file format support, and the ability to encode more than 30 seconds of video files.
etAudio user interface has similarities with that of (earlier versions of) Winamp since it has separate, eg playing, playlist and music library windows. Like Winamp, JetAudio can also minimize the toolbar (the Winamp called “Windowshade Mode”) by pressing the “Toolbar ON / OFF Mode” on the top right of the main window.
The interface focuses on a spectrum display 10 bands that doubles as an equalizer. Different implementations of this spectrum display can be found in the main window, the library, the video window, the display of letters and the Spectrum Viewer external.
JetAudio comes with a number of pre-installed skins “Gunmetal Grey Default”, “Default Silver”, “Silver Mini Default” and an earlier version of “Silver Default” with a volume control knob style. Besides these, there are four aspects to the main window as a bar is.
Users can create their own skins using the Development Kit JetAudio skin (SDK) available for download from the website JetAudio.
Some aspects are applicable to all parts of the user interface (including the main window, Media Center, video window, playlist window and Letters window), while others (especially older skins) may relate to the main window.
JetAudio has the ability to display both synchronized and non-synchronized lyrics to music using several different methods. Lyrics are displayed on the dedicated window Lyrics Viewer (accessible by clicking the “Show Lyric” button above the timer module of the main window), along with the album art to the file and, optionally, a spectrum display.
