He is framed for her murder and forced to become an assassin, seeking revenge on those who conspired against him.

Corvo is aided in his quest by the Loyalists—a resistance group fighting to reclaim Dunwall, and the Outsider—a powerful being who imbues Corvo with magical abilities. It was developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.Dishonored was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 in October 2012. The game is based in an industrial city of Dunwall.It is a first-person playing game in which the player is allowed to perform a series of assassination missions. The player may murder the enemies in a variety of ways according to his choice.

As the player explores new levels, new paths and missions are revealed accordingly. The gameplay of Dishonored is extremely violent. So it may be improper for the children. In the features of the game, the player has six active powers to be used during the missions. Initially, the powers are limited; however they are exceeded with the completion of the missions. The player cannot use all of his powers at a time in a single playthrough. Because the player needs “mana” to use the abilities while mana regenerates partially after using the powers of “Blink” and “Dark Vision”.

Several noted actors including Susan Sarandon, Brad Dourif, Carrie Fisher, Michael Madsen, Lena Headey, and Chloë Grace Moretz provided voice work for the game.The important thing during gameplay is that the player can save his/her game anytime. Moreover, a checkpoint system is also available in the game to save the game progress. However the saving option is disabled during a combat with enemies. The game can be saved before or after the combat.

Dishonored’s music score was produced by composer Daniel Licht to represent London in the nineteenth century.The game can be played in four difficulty levels that change the features of the game while playing. For example: effectiveness of health, power of mana points (magic points), awareness of enemies, intensity of damage and response of the actions of player. Playing in easy mode, enables the health to regenerate.

Following its release, Dishonored was supplemented with additional content focusing on the assassin Daud and his quest for redemption.
